"The prime feeling I have when painting is, 'Look at the world, it is beautiful.'"   
"But recently I have moved on from there needing change and growth, in myself as well as in my painting.  I want to paint the adventurous exploration I feel, and the resultant joy.   The Blue Door paintings are the start of this, doors opening, possibilities arriving ......"
